Attempting to Broadcast Live

MPIH has been broadcasting live for the past couple hours and will do so from time to time in the process of testing different applications.

The benefit of broadcasting live right now is that the aggregator-inserted advertising is NOT inserted into a LIVE broadcast so I have been broadcasting a solid wall of music for the past couple hours with no commercial interruption.

Not bad! Not bad at all!

The problem is...I invested in a software application for this purpose which cost quite a bit of money and I can't seem to get it to function properly with the aggregator's server. I am using a cheaper version of he software which does not have all the broadcasting capabilities and features the other one has.

Hopefully, continued testing and experimentation, and a little help from customer service, will get us up and running the way it was intended to be.

If you should happen to catch the station in one of those moments when I am transitioning between "standard" broadcast mode (playing songs uploaded to the aggregator's server) and the "live" broadcast mode (where I broadcast directly from my computer to the server), then you may experience an interruption in the broadcast. Please just click the station button again and should re-load automatically.

Thanks for your patience and understanding!

May God bless you and yours.
